Agnez Mo’s Hollywood Feature Film Debut
C.L.A.Y. marks Agnez’s debut in an English-language feature film. Previously, Agnez had expanded her acting career in the international entertainment industry through the series Reacher Season 4.
In the series, Agnez portrays Lila Hoth, a mysterious character involved in the story alongside Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher. She also co-stars with Indonesian singer Anggun C. Sasmi, who plays Amisha Hoth, Lila’s mother.
To prepare for her role, Agnez reportedly hired a Hollywood acting coach personally.
She also incorporated pencak silat elements into her action scene choreography as part of her preparation for the action series.
The experience in Reacher Season 4 became one of Agnez’s steps in developing her acting career on the international stage.
Now, she is ready to continue that journey through C.L.A.Y., her first English-language feature film.
In this film, Agnez will join an ensemble cast that includes Nicolas Cage, Michael Sheen, Jordi Mollà, Emilio Sakraya, and Adrian Topol. However, details about the character she will portray have not yet been announced.
The director and writer of C.L.A.Y., Simon Afram, also welcomed Agnez’s involvement by praising her acting abilities and her presence in the international entertainment industry.
C.L.A.Y. tells the story of a computer genius who struggles to find his place in social life. His life changes after he gets involved with an underground hacking group called C.L.A.Y., an acronym for Clowns Laughing At You.
The group became known for bold actions that turned digital provocations into real-world consequences. As their popularity grew, C.L.A.Y.’s activities began to attract the attention of intelligence agencies, criminal syndicates, and rival hacker groups.
Through this project, Agnez Mo once again gets the chance to showcase her acting abilities on the international stage, this time in a feature film alongside several renowned Hollywood actors.
