Indonesia’s gaming scene once more offers something intriguing to anticipate. This time, the Bandung‑based independent studio Eksil Team is preparing to launch Acts of Blood, a martial‑arts action game that tells a story of revenge amid corruption and injustice.
A recent announcement from publisher Big Fan Games confirms that Acts of Blood will be released on PC via Steam on December 4, 2026, priced at US$19.99. Console gamers, meanwhile, can look forward to its arrival on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S early in 2027.
Story of Revenge Against Corrupt Politicians
In Acts of Blood, players follow Hendra, a law student who lost his family in a massacre perpetrated by corrupt politicians in the fictional city of Bandapa.
When the justice system fails to deliver fairness and instead shields the elite, Hendra chooses his own path. He then begins a campaign of revenge to hold those responsible accountable for the deaths of his loved ones.
This premise serves as the narrative foundation, blending brutal action with themes of corruption and social injustice.
Blend of Martial Arts, Weapons, and Parkour
In terms of gameplay, Acts of Blood provides close‑range combat that mixes several martial arts styles, including pencak silat, taekwondo, Muay Thai, kickboxing, and wrestling. Players can string together combos, block attacks, and execute counter‑strikes to defeat opponents.
When unarmed combat proves insufficient, a variety of melee weapons and firearms can be used to dispatch foes. Players can instantly switch weapons to create more diverse attack combinations.
Beyond fighting, players can employ parkour mechanics to sprint, leap, climb, and sneak through different areas. The surrounding environment can also be weaponized, such as by destroying objects or hurling furniture at opponents.
Eksil Team also offers character customization through clothing, tattoo, and appearance options. Hendra’s apartment serves as a headquarters where players can prepare before resuming missions.
Eksil Team’s Debut Title
Acts of Blood marks the debut project of Eksil Team, led by Fajrul FN. The studio gained international attention after showcasing gameplay footage at Summer Game Fest 2025.
Featuring intense combat and a revenge storyline, Acts of Blood stands out as one of Indonesia’s upcoming game releases worth monitoring before the end of 2026.
