Thecuy.com – Becks Apparel memberikan dukungan kepada tim futsal SMK Yuppentek 1 Tangerang in the Jaksa Super League (JSL) 2026, which takes place from 17 to 31 October at SMK Jakarta 1. The support includes providing match jerseys for the team, as part of Becks Apparel’s initiative to foster student sports and meet young athletes’ competition needs.
Meiliza Amanda, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Becks Apparel, explained that the support goes beyond simply providing sports equipment. She aims to be involved in students’ journey to enhance their skills and build competitive spirit. According to Meiliza, events like JSL 2026 offer students the chance to develop their talents, boost confidence, and learn to uphold sportsmanship. She hopes the partnership will serve as a foundation for a long‑term collaboration between Becks Apparel and the educational sports community.
“We want Becks Apparel to be more than just a provider of sports apparel; we want it to be part of young athletes’ journey to develop their potential. We hope this support will boost the spirit of SMK Yuppentek 1’s players so they can give their best performance in JSL 2026. For us, backing student sports is an investment in Indonesia’s sporting future,” said Meiliza.
SMK Yuppentek 1 also reacted positively to the apparel support. Bachtiar Yusuf, the school’s futsal coach, praised the quality of the jerseys supplied by Becks Apparel for meeting the players’ needs. He noted that the lightweight, sweat‑wicking fabric keeps players comfortable during matches. “The jersey quality from Becks Apparel is exceptional. The players feel very comfortable while playing thanks to its light weight and sweat‑absorbing material,” Bachtiar remarked.
SMK Yuppentek 1 does not view JSL 2026 solely as a competition for a championship title. The event is also used as a training platform to enhance technical skills, tactical awareness, and competitive mindset among students. This year, the school entered two squads, Yuppentek A and Yuppentek B, in order to provide broader playing opportunities and ensure a steady player pipeline for the future.
Bachtiar stated that participation in the student futsal competition serves purposes beyond winning trophies. The players are encouraged to learn from each match and grow in handling competition. “For us, JSL is crucial not only for chasing trophies but also as a venue to test competitive spirit, sharpen tactical maturity, and shape a never‑give‑up attitude among the students at the highest level of competition,” he commented.
