Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5, “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis,” will debut on August 26, unveiling Astropolis as a fresh locale plus the 5‑star warriors Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair. HoYoverse has also published a trailer for the upcoming patch.
The new Trailblaze Continuance picks up the turmoil in Planarcadia ignited by the Voracity. The Trailblazer travels to Astropolis, a stronghold of the Interastral Peace Corporation and the hub of Interastral Peace Entertainment, seeking the power required to aid Planarcadia. Robin and Aventurine will also appear, with the latter continuing his probe into a possible traitor among the Ten Stonehearts.
Robin • Summeretto is a 5‑star Wind champion on the Path of Remembrance. After departing Penacony on Sunday, she assumes leadership of the Oak Family and journeys to Astropolis while covertly investigating the mystery of Gopher Wood’s “legacy.” Her gameplay focuses on gathering Vibes from teammates’ actions and delivering increasingly potent team buffs. Her Ultimate instantly advances a chosen ally’s move, restores that ally’s Energy and raises her own Vibe level. Robin will also launch a fresh song titled “Only by Chasing the Wind.”
Robin • Summeretto and her 5‑star Light Cone “Rise and Sing” will be the featured attractions for the first half of Version 4.5, alongside a Hyacine rerun. In addition, the brand‑new 4‑star Light Cone “A Little Getaway” will be introduced.
The second half launches on September 12 and will bring Aventurine • Waveflair, a 5‑star Quantum hero on the Path of Elation. His kit leverages Punchline and Fervor mechanics, where actions from Aventurine and his teammates generate resources capable of triggering an extra Elation Skill. He arrives together with his 5‑star Light Cone “Summer Rides the Surf” and a rerun of Ashveil.
Version 4.5 will also introduce the “Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix” racing competition and “Minuscule Great Adventure,” plus a revamp of Divergent Universe. “Planar Fissure” and “Realm of the Strange” will return as double‑drop events, and a fresh Trailblaze Fashion piece titled “Aw, Look Up Here” will be unlocked. Additionally, story dialogues will feature an optional fast‑forward option beginning with this patch.
HoYoverse also unveiled a Honkai: Star Rail partnership with MOONDROP, showcasing Sparxie‑branded merchandise and both digital and physical events across several territories.
A Zenless Zone Zero crossover is also slated for later in 2026, bringing characters from that title into Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4, titled In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound, launched on July 15, while the second phase of the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration started on July 24.
