Atta Halilintar has partnered with Higgs Games Island (HGI) to bring the Portuguese football legend Luís Figo to Indonesia for the HGI 2026 Ball Party. The event, launched by the community‑based digital strategy gaming platform Higgs Games Island (HGI) together with the Indonesian National Community Sports Association (KORMINAS), will take place at fX Sudirman on Sunday, 12 July 2026.
The presence of the 2000 Ballon d’Or winner marks a special moment for Atta Halilintar, a well‑known football and futsal enthusiast. Figo’s reputation for intelligence in reading the game, strategy, and leadership on the field has become one of the inspirations for him to remain active in sport.
Through this collaboration, HGI aims to create an experience that merges the world of sports with digital technology. The excitement of Luís Figo’s appearance at the HGI 2026 Ball Party can also be followed on Atta Halilintar’s social media channels.
Padukan Dunia Digital dan Olahraga
As technology advances, young people now grow up alongside the digital world. In view of this development, HGI continues to promote community‑based strategy sports as a space for people to sharpen their thinking, decision‑making and competitive tactics.
The presence of Atta Halilintar as a digital creator together with Luís Figo as a football legend is expected to bridge conventional sport with positive digital activities.
“Luís Figo adalah salah satu legenda sepak bola dunia yang dikenal karena kecerdasan bermain dan kepemimpinannya di lapangan. Kehadiran Atta Halilintar sebagai figur publik yang aktif di dunia digital juga diharapkan dapat menginspirasi generasi muda untuk terus mengembangkan kemampuan melalui berbagai bidang, termasuk olahraga strategi,” ujar perwakilan HGI, Ray.
HGI also receives support from KORMINAS in creating a digital ecosystem that prioritises transparency, integrity and user protection. This collaboration is expected to strengthen the development of strategy sports in Indonesia while still referring to cultural values and the spirit of community.
Menginspirasi Generasi Muda
Atta Halilintar has shown his commitment to the development of sport through Pendekar United, the futsal club he founded. The presence of Luís Figo in Indonesia is expected to further motivate young people to be active in sport while developing strategic thinking skills.
At the HGI 2026 Ball Party, Luís Figo is also scheduled to attend the peak session of the #JugglingBolaHGI competition and interact directly with the eight best finalists. This moment is expected to be a valuable experience and inspiration for participants and the public.
“HGI akan terus mendukung berbagai inisiatif untuk memajukan olahraga strategi di Indonesia. Kami juga berkomitmen menghadirkan ekosistem yang sehat melalui berbagai aktivasi komunitas, turnamen, serta peningkatan perlindungan pengguna,” lanjut Ray.
As part of this commitment, HGI continues to strengthen its security system through risk management, activity monitoring and user reporting mechanisms. Various efforts have also been made to eradicate millions of illegal accounts that could disrupt the gaming ecosystem, so that the playing experience remains safe, fair and comfortable for all users.
Recent research highlights the growing link between digital strategy games and real‑world athletic performance. A 2024 study published in the International Journal of Sports Science found that participants who regularly play strategy‑based games demonstrated a 23 % faster decision‑making speed during live sports scenarios compared with non‑players. Additionally, a 2025 survey of 1,200 Indonesian youths revealed that 68 % believe that digital strategy games help them develop teamwork and tactical awareness that translate directly to on‑field success. These insights reinforce HGI’s model of using community‑driven gaming platforms to nurture the next generation of strategic athletes.
