Siap-siap Begadang! Ini 5 Anime Paling Ditunggu di Tahun 2027, Nomor 1 Jagoan Baru Shonen Jump!
The year 2026 has been a spectacular ride for anime enthusiasts. Fans are treated to continuation seasons of Jujutsu Kaisen and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, alongside fresh titles such as Witch Hat Atelier that have taken the community by storm. The lineup for the summer through fall period feels incredibly packed.
Because of the epic nature of 2026, expectations for 2027 are soaring. Although it’s still mid‑year and not all next year’s releases have been revealed, several confirmed titles are already generating massive buzz among viewers.
If you’re curious which series will be starring in your watchlist next year, here’s a rundown of the five most anticipated shows.
Ranking fifth is Dandadan Season 3. The series’ second season concluded in September 2025 with a major cliffhanger, and the third season has been confirmed for a 2027 premiere. Produced by Science SARU, this installment will cover the expansive Space Globalists Arc, finally unraveling the mysteries surrounding a female robot controller and an alien invasion, promising even more intense combat scenes.
At number four lands Delicious in Dungeon Season 2. This Netflix favorite, animated by Studio Trigger, returns in October 2027. The story follows knight Laios and his sister Falin as they venture into a dungeon to rescue her from a dragon’s belly, surviving by cooking and eating the monsters they encounter. After the Sixth Floor Arc was wrapped up in season one, the upcoming second season is expected to serve as the series’ finale, given the limited remaining chapters in the source material.
Third on the list is the highly publicized One Piece remake. Announced at Jump Festa 2023, this WIT Studio production is set to debut in February 2027 on Netflix. Its fresh visual style and brisk storytelling will condense the first fifty chapters—covering Luffy’s early journey up to meeting Sanji at Baratie—into just seven episodes, hinting at a potentially long‑running adaptation.
The second spot goes to Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 3. Madhouse will adapt the beloved Golden Land Arc, where Frieren, Stark, and Fern investigate rumors of a city cursed to turn entirely to gold. A twist revealed in the previous season shows that the fabled golden city is actually Denken’s homeland, and the antagonist Mahat, one of the Seven Sages of Destruction, will reshape the elf race’s portrayal in the saga.
Taking the top position is Kagurabachi. This new Shonen Jump series, slated for a Spring 2027 release on Crunchyroll, follows Chihiro Rokuhira, a cool‑headed teen seeking vengeance for his father’s murder. Armed with the last surviving katana forged by his father, he battles rival witch clans to reclaim stolen sacred swords, delivering brutal and stylish action.
Recent industry trends show a strong appetite for continuation seasons, high‑profile remakes, and bold new shonen protagonists, reflecting both nostalgia and fresh storytelling ambitions.
