Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2 Membuka Karakter Baru Weak Kingsley, Mengajak Rilis 29 Juni

Studio TRIGGER has launched the initial character, Weak Kingsley, for the upcoming sequel anime, Cyberpunk Edgerunners 2. Fans at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival got a teaser preview earlier this week, with the full announcement set for June 29. The new series will consist of 10 episodes set within the Cyberpunk 2077 universe, previously characterized as “a raw tale of redemption and vengeance.” Kai Ikarashi, who helmed Episode 6 of the original anime “Girl on Fire,” will direct. Ichigo Kanno is the character designer, and Masahiko Otsuka will handle the screenplay. Netflix is confirmed as the streaming platform.

Studio TRIGGER also created the first Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, released in September 2022 with 10 episodes. A prequel manga focusing on Rebecca and Pilar was launched in December.
