BLEACH Mengunggah MV JUMP Baru dengan ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION ‘After Dark’

The 50th collaboration video by Shueisha’s JUMP MV initiative showcases Tite Kubo’s BLEACH alongside ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION’s track “After Dark.” Premiering on the Shonen Jump YouTube channel on June 13, it blends manga panels from BLEACH with the band’s 2007 hit, a song fans recognize as the seventh opening theme of the original BLEACH anime.

This project marks another milestone in JUMP MV’s series, merging WSJ manga with Sony Music artists’ music. BLEACH, created by Tite Kubo, ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, spanning 74 volumes and selling over 130 million copies globally. Its status as a top-selling manga is underscored by its enduring popularity.

The anime adaptation of BLEACH aired between 2004 and 2012, featuring four films. The franchise revived in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, adapting the manga’s final arc. Part 4 of this adaptation, set for a July release, will include additional original content beyond the manga, expanding its concluding battles. The first three episodes will debut early in U.S. theaters.

ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, formed in 1996, recently celebrated its 30th anniversary. The group, known for contributing to anime like Naruto and BLEACH, performed at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026. Their collaboration with BLEACH highlights their long-standing influence in anime soundtracks.
