Pemeriksaan KPK Terkait Pembayaran THR Pegawai PPTKA Kemnaker Melalui Agen TKA

Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) sedang menggelar investigasi terkait suspici regarding the acceptance of holiday allowances (THR) by employees of the Directorate of Control of Foreign Worker Utilization (PPTKA) under the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), which allegedly originate from foreign worker agencies (TKA). According to reports, nearly all employees in the directorate are said to receive these annual THR payments.

During an examination on Thursday (September 11, 2025), investigators focused on the unrecorded funds received from TKA agencies and the yearly THR distributed to most PPTKA employees, as stated by KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo on Friday (September 12, 2025). He further hinted that the money was suspected to come from TKA agencies.

However, Budi did not disclose the exact amount of money given by the TKA agencies to the PPTKA employees. Additionally, the KPK is also probing the acquisition of assets by the suspects, which are believed to be funded by these undeclared funds from TKA agencies.

Investigators are also examining the purchase of assets by the suspects, which are suspected to be funded by the undocumented funds from TKA agencies.

Publicly known, this suspected corruption case at the Ministry of Manpower, currently being investigated by the KPK, revolves around extortion in the processing of foreign worker permits. The KPK revealed that this case occurred between 2019 and 2023, with evidence showing a total of Rp 53 billion in accumulated funds. Eight individuals have been designated as suspects in this case. The KPK suspects that certain officials at the Ministry of Manpower have been extorting prospective foreign workers intending to work in Indonesia.

The eight suspects who have been detained by the KPK are:

1. Gatot Widiartono, Coordinator of Analysis and Control of Foreign Worker Utilization (PPTKA) from 2021 to 2025.
2. Putri Citra Wahyoe, Hotline Officer for RPTKA from 2019 to 2024, and Verifier of RPTKA Authentication at the Directorate of Control of Foreign Worker Utilization (PPTKA) from 2024 to 2025.
3. Jamal Shodiqin, Analyst at the PPTKA Directorate from 2019 to 2024, also serving as the First Expert Assistant at the PPTKA Directorate from 2024 to 2025.
4. Alfa Eshad, Junior Expert Assistant at the Ministry of Manpower from 2018 to 2025.
5. Suhartono, Director General of Worker Development and Employment Opportunity Expansion (Binapenta and PKK) at the Ministry of Manpower from 2020 to 2023.
6. Haryanto, Director of PPTKA from 2019 to 2024, also serving as Director General of Binapenta and PKK from 2024 to 2025, and currently holding the position of Special Staff to the Minister for International Relations.
7. Wisnu Pramono, Director of PPTKA from 2017 to 2019.
8. Devi Angraeni, Director of PPTKA from 2024 to 2025.
